Join us August 15-17 at Ronora Lodge and Retreat Center, Watervliet Michigan. We'll stay in the spacious Cherry Wood House, a new modern, accessible facility!
This weekend "back to the land" on the 400+ acres of woodland and lake within the spirit-filled place called Ronora gives us time to wander, relax, drum, sing and commune with nature and each other.
Cost for the weekend with comfortable air-conditioned lodging and 5 meals is $200. We also offer a new "Day Pass" for Saturday-only.
Once again we'll cook for each other. Two Springfield women have volunteered to prepare Friday night's dinner and we're looking for volunteers to prepare our meal on Saturday night.
Schedule is loose and flexible. Friday night we'll gather for a welcoming, and get to know each other. A Saturday morning gathering and an evening bonfire will round out the full day of our retreat, along with 3 meals and a workshop or two (maybe!). Otherwise you're free to take walks in the woods, do crafts, swim in the lake, chat with long-time and new friends, or take a road trip to our favorite store about 5 miles away.
SATURDAY MORNING WORKSHOP led by Jenn Johnson:
Gain the tools and confidence to protect yourself. This workshop will teach you how to recognize, avoid, and respond to potential threats. We'll focus on realistic techniques and strategies to help you feel empowered and prepared. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing.
